Photos March 2006, Hotsprings, Penguins

Colin in hotsprings after a days work!

(we were working as WWOOFers...working for free food & board, at hotsprings on the mornington peninsula)

One of the perks one all that hard work was access to the gorgeous neutral Geo thermal pools.

One of the Thermal pools with a bam boo water shoots.

Elma in hotsprings!

Elma still in the hot pool!

Colin, Megan and Lucki enjoying another perk. The food here was Amazing.

our luxurious accomadation for 2 weeks

From this angle you cant see it but there was actually a two meter rip in the roof of our luxurious accommodation. It was OK though it did not rain that much!

The Cookie Monster

I dont know why Elma put this photo up. In it i look like monty burns on a bad day!

(colin after he missed the sign that said "cold water pool" and jumped into what he thought was hot geothermal water)

Elma working hard.

Bieke "the life guard" working very hard at the mudbath!

Lucki and Bieke not working so hard at the mudbath!

Elma, Bieke and Lucki Cleaning off the mudbath

Colin in his hat.

Colin and Bieke having barrels of fun.

The Wine barrels where half berried and then filled with geo thermal water. They were so nice to sit in and soak.

Bieke watering Colin so he will grow.

What happens if you give two big kids a big pice of plastic some washing up liquid and a hosepipe?

Yes slip and slide

I think Bieke and me had more fun with this than the kids.

Weee!

Penguins we saw on Philip Island, Victoria

very cute, all came out of the sea in a penguin parade at sunset to go to their nests

smallest penguins in the world, only 30cm tall!

One of the more interesting road signs!

(check for penguins under your car before driving off)
